When a negligent driver causes a serious car accident, that driver may be held responsible for damages to car accident victims. These damages can include compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering and other costs related to the accident. It is important that car accident victims understand their legal rights and take quick action to protect them. Often, specific evidence is required from the accident scene to prove negligence in a case. This evidence must be quickly preserved following a car accident.
