In 2003, Josh received his B.A. in history, summa cum laude, from Lycoming College, and, in 2007, he earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law. Josh served as a staff member of The Duquesne Law Review during his last two years of law school and attended law school on a full academic scholarship.
After passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in 2007, Josh clerked for three years for Judge Richard J. Walsh, of the 39th Judicial District of Pennsylvania. In 2010 and 2011, Josh clerked for Judge Christine Donohue of the Pennsylvania Superior Court before joining Schemery Zicolello. Josh is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Josh is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Lycoming Law Association, and the North Central Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. Josh currently practices workers compensation, civil rights, and personal injury law. In 2016 and 2017, he was honored by Super Lawyers as one of the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are either under the age of 40 or who have been practicing less than ten years. Josh grew up on his parents’ dairy farm in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
