A pedestrian was injured when he fell on an exposed water valve owned by a municipality, striking his head on a concrete sidewalk.  Suit was filed after the Defendant denied liability.  Ultimately, the case settled for $80,000, in a matter where there was no claim for lost wages because the client was retired.
