A customer of a large chain retail store was injured when an employee of the store was helping him load his purchases in his vehicle (due to the customer’s disability) and carelessly tripped the customer as the employee was leaving after completing the task. Our client suffered a concussion and fractured clavicle which did not require surgery. There was no wage loss since the client was disabled. The case ultimately settled for $65,000.
